  • I understand the need for executive power over congressional power at times. However what concerns me is a balance of power and the need for checks and balances embedded in a democracy. Here we are trying to set up democracy all over the world where there exists tyrants and dictators in power.

  • Is anyone surprised. Haliburton which had Cheney forpolitical pull during Bush's "reign", has thought right along that they could get away with anything...and they have. Will this be any different? Only if Obama decides togo after and pull the plug on Haliburton.

  • I believe that soldiers deserve the utmost respect for the job they do for us. I also believe that policemen, firemen, and teachers deserve that respect too, because they are sacrificing their time to contribute to the betterment and security of our lives.

  • Color shouldn't be the deciding factor in casting your vote. For re election it should be action. I ask what has he accomplished so far. Are the American people's lives better since he has been in office...have we manged to sustain our standard of living. The answer is no to both.
